Christian von Volkmann heads thexton armstrong in Northern and Eastern Germany and has more than 25 years of experience in management and advisory roles with owner-managed and growth-oriented companies.
As a former CFO and board member of listed life-science and technology companies, Christian spent 17 years at board level and guided companies through growth phases, restructurings, international expansion and capital-market transactions. Over the course of his career he has been responsible for financing of around 500 million euros, has led companies with up to 160 employees and has worked closely with founders, management teams and investors.
Christian is the founder of VOVOI GmbH, a Berlin-based consultancy that supports mid-sized companies on strategy, finance and operations. As a sounding board he helps business owners improve their company’s performance, strengthen its management and get through phases of change.
His career includes senior positions at MagForce AG and Jerini AG (acquired by Shire Pharmaceuticals) as well as his early professional years at Ernst & Young. He has also worked as an adviser, supporting mid-sized companies and their owners in reaching the next stage of development at decisive moments. He has worked in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States and is fluent in German and English.
As Master Franchise Partner, Christian is building and supporting the network of thexton armstrong franchise partners in Northern and Eastern Germany. His focus is on practical, results-oriented advice for owners of mid-sized businesses; for franchise partners he provides clear leadership, proven methods and the backing of an international network.
